Jubilee bunting

Well done to all our finalists of the Jubilee bunting competition and our overall winners Lucy and Preston. All the final pieces of bunting have now been sewn together and look fabulous hanging under the covered way ready for our Jubilee Celebration.

Cyclocross

In their latest trip to Silverhill, Cycle Derby bought 'Cyclocross' to the Year 5 and 6 pupils. During a very warm day, pupils were given the chance to use one of the special Cycle Derby cyclocross bikes and compete in races around the course. The children had great fun taking part and demonstrated some excellent Olympic Values!

Conkers!

Despite the grey weather, Year two had a wonderful time at Conkers last Tuesday. They explored the discovery centre, went on the train, walked through the woodland paths and round the lake, played on the interactive floor and in the Enchanted Forest, learned about recycling and even made recycled paper!  It was a  fun, jam packed and exhausting day!

Sport Relief Mile update...

A massive well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the Sport Relief Mile as you have collectively raised £1882-50p!!!! That money will make a huge difference to the lives of so many children and young people not as fortunate as us. It's a fantastic achievement and if you took part and raised money you should feel very proud!
